Welcome Back to my Therapy

It took the influence influence of my daughter to take  this step, but I have decided to move  back to the digital arena (blogging) from old school journal keeping after the recent events in my life. Things were going allong pretty smothly in my rebuilding after my car accident in July and just when we all thought we might see a silver lining in the distance disaster has struck.  A week ago my husband and son were in a terrible car accident. The injuries to my son werenot as severe as those of my husband.  Unfortunately my husband it seems will never be able to work again. His back and head injury are bad enough that he will struggle walking for the rest of his life.  They were stopped in bumper to bumper traffic when a woman came upon them at a speed between 70 - 80 mph.  They were spun in circles then slammed up on their side on the median. Some how my son was able to climb out of the back passenger window and pull my husband to safety.  Once he laid him on the ground he pulled the woman who hit them to safety (whom was sitting in her car even though it had burst into flames )  The driver seemed to be without injury, however she was 5 months pregnant. After spending the better part of the night in the hospital, we came home and assessed the situation.  My son and husband have both lost their jobs because of the incident.  This leaves our family with only a part time Wendy's job supporting us.  Its going to be a long difficult road. Is there any wonder I need this outlet?

Looking forward to returning to blogging about myself and the things that pump me up.  This will be a totally random blog about things from craft products to natural living, griping about work to religion. Hold on to your seats kiddies..... this ride may get bumpy!

  2. I’m sorry to hear about the accident. Reckless driving can really bring a lot of negative impacts to the lives on both ends of the victim and the driver. What happened to your husband and son is really tragic. Though the thing we should be thankful for is the fact that they survived, despite the injuries. I know how hard it is for you to see your love ones suffering. Stay strong, Bidys! This might be a bumpy ride, but I’m sure you’ll be fine if you keep that positive vibe going.
